I posted this on a forum a few weeks ago. Just a moment of clarity i had while eating jellybeans. I thought it was kinda funny so i'm posting it here too.

Today I was woofing down some jellybeans, little did I know someone snuck these little fuckers in the bowl and turned a wonderful candy dish into a frozen forest full of nazis waiting for me to venture in so they could open fire. I really hate these damn things. I mean I love popcorn just not in a jelly form. The texture along with that familiar flavor is just off putting. You never expect them either.

Hours passed after my first encounter with the buttery bastards and I needed to indulge my sweet tooth again. I forgot about the popcorn jellybeans that were hiding out in the candy dish like little butter flavored land mines so like an alzheimer's patient I went back to the bowl for another hand full of jellybeans. I've turned it into a game, I call it the game of life, to borrow the name from another game. It goes like this. You blindly grab a handful of the little candy jewels and pop them in your mouth without looking. Like russian roulette you don't know if you crapped out or got a wonderful explosion of fruit flavor. You continue until you dodge all the popcorn beans or you hit one. At that time you put the remaining beans back in the bowl making the odds higher in favor of the popcorn abortions. There is no end to the game to speak of, only a meaning. No matter how sweet life is for you, eventually you get fucked.
